This was boring, boring, boring. I have loved Roberts' books and can't get over these two. There were two pages of plot in each book and all the rest was descriptions of feelings or lovemaking. I stuck it out through the first book. What would happen in the second book was inevitable, so I read the first chapter, then skipped to the last. Even that was boring. Thank goodness she doesn't garbage like this any more.

I thought the romance was really great. Loved the humorous interaction between the characters. I also liked how the connections between the two time periods were integrated into the story lines. Even though the stories were both fiction, they made me think about what the future might look like two centuries from now.

As usual she did a great job with the novels. I enjoy her idea of how they would handle time travel. The only problem that I see is that this is an old novel with a new name, so it caused me to purchase it for the 2nd time.
Combining these two books into one setting is perfect.. and having it finally in ebook???? Well, I'm ecstatic. Libby and Sunny are two strong characters, as well as the glimpses into the conflict between time travel and choosing between home and heart.... I've had this one in paperback until it was finally worn out, and now I have it again forever! Thanks!
I was a little hesitant to read this latest re-issue of Nora Roberts. I am a big fan of her romance and mystery mix, as well as her more strictly romances. But I wasn't sure how I would like the time travel duo. But, I have to say, Nora pulled it off, weaving two stories of love with a little time travel. I have read books that I thought to be better by her, but given my doubts before reading this title, she did an excellent job.
So what happens to Caleb, stranded in the 20th century, and Libby in "Time Was"? Or Jacob, Caleb's brother who comes to rescue him, and Sunny in "Times Change"? The only way to find out is to take the time to read it. In my humble opinion, it is well worth it.
Nora Roberts has always been one of my favorite authors. I had this book in my library but a friend borrowed it. I know I will never get it back so ordered this one. What I liked about it one part of it is set in Oregon, to be precise where I live, so, as I read the story I can picture what they are seeing, where they are at, I see it everyday. As for the quality of the book, it was classified as good, but the cover was ripped and the pages were brown. I would have classified it as maybe fair. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
Nora Roberts is a skillful and amiable writer of novels that take you into a charming setting and display the course of a romance in that setting. The setting is a rustic country cabin, lovingly described, and the heroines of both books are sisters. The first book was somewhat enjoyable, with an inadvertently-time-traveling hero rescued by an intrepid, capable woman. They slowly fall in love... well, I don't want to spoil the ending if you can't guess it. The second book, I actively disliked because instead of two interesting people reluctantly falling in love, it told the story of two angry people barely restraining themselves from smacking each other but meanwhile somewhat overwhelmed by tides of lust. That may be just the thing for some readers but I didn't enjoy it.

My favorite Nora Roberts so far is her series of books about four best friends who together make a business for planning weddings. So don't buy this book, I recommend, but go find those four.
