Always amazed that more aren't reading or writing reviews for my favorite authors. After looking in the mirror, I have decided to let you all know that this one is one you want. After the Legacy series I was thinking this might have more magic to it. Not the romantic magic (which this has) but real magic...real magic? Anyway, loved this one and hope everyone can appreciate the author's talent for story telling and character weaving. It truly is great.
Pleasant enough romance, but the author relied too much on the sex and not enough on plot. It started off well with Ella, a lecturer, meeting Mae, a whimsical free spirit. They got together early in the book with little buildup or slow burn. There was a bit of a plot involving family acceptance, but the book was so saturated with bed scenes I lost interest. For anyone looking for good erotica, I can recommend this book, but if looking for a novel with depth and a good storyline, give it a miss.
I've been searching for a GENUINE romance and I am delighted to have found this lovely tale. The author took the time to flesh-out the characters, their impulses and their reason for being who they are. The emotions are real, their actions genuine and deep. The intimate scenes aren't rushed or cliche but handled in a very mature manner which is often lacking in many stories. Though many characters are involved, not once do you get confused as to their specific part of the play or their motives. I was also gratified to not find ANY grammatical or punctuation errors. A BONUS! Very well edited. My compliments to all who vested their skills in the development and production of this story.
This is my second book i have read from this author. And while I think "Rabbit" is better, this was still a really good read. It's told from the POV of Ella Frost, a professor at Beverly. She wonders into the Three Goddesses shop for a paper she is working on and meets the owner Mae and her life changes for the better. This is more of a coming out/coming to terms story. There are pretty good love scenes and the chemistry between the two MC is well written. The secondary characters do s good job adding to the story. I do wonder what was real point of Raven. She played a semi-important part but then never returned. I kept waiting for that other shoe.
The two MC dont break up which is nice. They actually communicate. If you want something well written with a good story and great characters, pick this one up. Its free on kindleUnlimited.

I like the two characters in this story. It is a gentle approach to self discovery, 'coming out' and finding harmony within a relationship that can weather external prejudices.
This is one of my favorite books, period. I loved the characters, the development, the setting...everything. Great dialogue. I am half in love with both of the main characters. Amazingly sweet.
